* 10th November 1919 + 6th January 2016 In 1940 Col. Pisanos joined British RAF as a licensed pilot. As a volunteer he was member of the 71st RAF Eagle Squadron. Later he joined the newly established 4th Fighter Group and flew with P-47 Thunderbolt. After he had 6 confirmed and 2 probable air victories, he received the new Mustang P-51. |
