* 8th September 1921 + 26th May 2011 After training was Cdr. Foltz assigned to the F6F Hellcat equipped VF-15 and boarded on Carrier USS Essex. He scored his first victory during Marianas Turkey Shoot. On 13th November 1944 he became an ace over Manila Bay. Cdr. Foltz was awarded 2 DFCs. |
