* 23rd June 1923 + 30th March 2010 Lt. Jeppson joined the training in March 1943. He was assigned to 509th B-29 Group formed under Col. Paul Tibbets and became a member Enola Gay crew. This plane dropped the first atomic bomb on Hiroshima. |
