* 16th October 1921 + 20th June 2018 Lt.Gen. Laubman began his career in military in December 1939. In 1943 he joined 412 Squadron based in Red Hill/Staplehurst, United Kingdom. Between June and October 1944 he downed 14 planes and became the fourth best RCAF ace. He ended the war as a prisoner of war. Lt.Gen. Laubman is awarded the Alberta Order of Excellence, DFC and Bar. |
