Sergei Kramarenko

* 10th April 1923 + 21st May 2020 Maj. Gen. Kramarenko started his flying course in 1940. First time in the action he was in November 1942 over Stalingrad. On 23rd February he achieved his first aerial victory (FW-190A). In arch 1944 he survived being shot down, wounded and captured. 2 weeks later he was rescued. He participated also on the Korean War (1950 - 53). Awards: Hero of the Soviet Union, Order of Lenin. |
