Admiral Ramage after graduation on the the US Naval Academy in 1939, served aboard USS Enterprise (CV-6).
He commanded a dive bomber squadron, VB-10 and participated in 11 combat actions in the Pacific during the war.
Navy Admiral Ramage led an attack on the Japanese Fleet in the Battle of the Philippine Sea in 1944.
He is one of the most decorated individuals in the history of US aviation.


Admiral Ramage was a pilot, who took part in the Marianas Turkey Shoot.
