Russian figure skater Pair skater, initially with Alexei Ulanov, later teamed up with Alexander Zaitsev. She won 10 successive World Championships (1969– 78). 3 x Olympic champion (1972, 1976 and 1980). Inducted into International Women's Sports Hall of Fame (1988). Inducted into the World Figure Skating Hall of Fame (1989). |
