* 31st October 1917 + 1st September 2013 Air Commodore Steege joined RAAF in July 1937. In July 1938 he was assigned to the 3rd RAAF Squadron. Until end of the 1940, he had 3 victories. In February 1941 he destroyed 3 Ju87 with his Hurricane I. In March 1942 he achieved his final victory (Bf109). |
