* 9th June 1924 + 25th December 2019 Col. Arasmith completed flight training in December 1943. In 1944 he joined 311th Fighter Group and arrived to the China-Burma Theater. He scored his first victory on the 17th November 1944. Next month he downed three planes in one combat, later he became 20-year-old ace. Col. Arasmith is awarded the Legion of Merit, 4 DFCs and 14 Air Medals. |
